First Steps Preschool at Katy’s First Baptist Church is looking to hire Christian teachers for the remainder of this school year as well as next school year!
First Steps, a weekday ministry of Katy’s First Baptist Church, is a well known and highly regarded Preschool in the Katy area, having celebrated 50 years this year. They seek to serve the Katy community by offering a Christ-centered early education for children aged 18 mos – 5 years old.
Teachers enjoy flexible schedules with either 3 or 4 day work weeks (closed on Fridays) and working hours from 8:30am – 3:00pm, making this an ideal schedule for those with school aged children. All training is provided. There is also a 50% tuition discount for teachers children enrolled in the Preschool!
Requirements:
· Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
· Good communication skills
· Able to work well with a co-teacher
· Must be ok with the physical demands that come with working with young children
· Previous teaching/child care experience is preferred, but not required
